PropelGrowth was founded in 2007, but it is something I have been planning since 2000. For several years, I worked with companies in the technology industry, helping them to implement standardized solution sales methodologies. The Solution Selling™ training we provided was well-written and well-delivered, and our clients consistently saw a short-term boost in performance. However, because we worked with a variety of technology companies who targeted an broad range of vertical markets and industries, our sales training materials and curriculum were necessarily generic. I realized that most of our clients really needed more specific help in developing crisper, more targeted value propositions and better-defined go-to-market strategies. Unfortunately we were unable to provide such specific help, as we were simply a generic provider who did not know their various target industries in depth. Instead we focused exclusively on our sales methodology without customizing it to the way our clients’ customers wanted to buy.

Enter the development of PropelGrowth. We have an unusual methodology for targeting our own client base. Instead of focusing on what you do – we focus on who you sell to. And because our expertise is in the Capital Markets,we only serve companies who target the Capital Markets. Everyone on our team comes from the Capital Markets and has both broad and deep knowledge of the industry. This lets us really dive in and help you to develop specific and relevant planning, strategy, messaging, and training that will help your team effectively sell into your customers’ organizations. In other words, you’re not going to get generic sales training or consulting from us. You’re going to get relevant industry insight and the tools, training, and direction to market and sell more effectively. If you use our lead nurturing services, you’re going to have access to a team of experts who really understand your target market and who can create compelling messages and engage in business-level discussions with your prospects — discussions that result in qualified sales opportunities for you.
