Focus on Financial Services and Financial Technology
We primarily serve companies that sell to the financial services industry. Specifically, our clients tend to target banks, asset managers, fund managers, investment banking, capital markets, commercial real estate investing, commercial banking and lending, insurance and a few other sectors. By focusing on a specific industry sector, we’re better equipped to help our clients understand and reach their target audience.
Setting Goals and Planning
In the first two months we’ll evaluate the current state of your marketing. From there, we’ll set reasonable goals and expectations for the year. We’ll identify four to six specific objectives to work on over the next 12 months.
Weekly Marketing Coaching Sessions
We hold weekly 90-minute marketing coaching sessions by phone/virtual meeting. Each session starts by reviewing the goals we set last week and the work accomplished since then. Next, we address new issues and concerns that came up during the week. Then, we spend about 60 minutes working on the topic scheduled for that session. We end each call by setting new goals for the coming week.
Our coaching approach is flexible. Each session is focused on your company’s needs. Sometimes, a client will pull members of the Sales team into a session so we can collaborate on specific opportunities or target accounts. Sometimes, we’ll use a session to do a win/loss analysis on a recent deal. At other times, we’ll collaborate with product managers to prepare for a launch or update a product marketing strategy. It depends on your priorities.
Staying Aligned with Business Goals
On a monthly or bi-monthly basis, we invite your CEO, head of sales, and other relevant team members to join the coaching session. In this session, we focus on 3 goals:
- Share marketing plans and progress against goals
- Review sales deals in progress to understand how Marketing can support the sales process
- Discuss emerging issues that may require a shift in the marketing strategy
We find that engaging across the organization helps to ensure that Marketing stays closely aligned with the needs of the business.
Costs for Marketing Coaching Service
Marketing Coaching plans start at $3,100 per month with an annual contract. We may include a kickstart fee for getting started, if you require more intensive work at the beginning to evaluate the current state and quickly develop a marketing strategy.
